There's a lot of books on how pokémon work around these cities, but none of them are incredibly specific. I've been thinking of asking a couple of the breeder-trainers what they know.
Debrief the people coming into it from the same outsider's perspective? That's the big problem I've noticed with a lot of the manuals. They assume there's already a base knowledge that I, at least, don't have.

I'm sure something like that would be as thorough as possible. Or maybe our outsider friends have already put information of their own together.
