Info: North's starter, Rascal is a small precious cinnamon roll who does his best. He has a lot of love to give stored up in his little shell, but he can be shy at first meetings and when it comes to actually battling. He's not that good at battling, but he's very, very cute and he's just a baby, so as long as he tries even Carolina is willing to give him a pass. Sometimes. Since he evolved, he's gotten more confident about battling, although he still prefers never to stray far from North's side.

Info: An egg given to him by Carolina. Unfortunately for North, while he was lucky enough to get a rare lady Eevee, it seems like she's destined to take after the intense lady who gave her to him. Feisty and constantly trying to start contests with North's other pokemon, he can tell this one will be a handful already. Since evolving, she's mellowed out some, although she's earned her spot as one of the higher-leveled members of North's team through sheer tenacity and determination in battle.

Info: An egg North bought for himself from Cecil Harvey. Right from the start North could tell that this little guy was going to be an even bigger handful than Rascal. The little pink star will not stop looking for trouble, and more often than not he's happy to recruit the rest of North's team (except for long-suffering Rosa) on his adventures. Yes, his nickname absolutely is a shitty twofold pun. Look out world, here comes Treble the Clefairy. Since evolving, he's become an even bigger handful, but North's been trying to get him to focus his energy toward more productive avenues than mischief.

Info: An egg North bought for himself from Cecil Harvey. Cheerilee was a much-needed Mom Friend for North's trouble-heavy team. A natural-born nurse, her personal Hippocratic oath is "Do no harm, but take no shit," and that is exactly what she does. She evolved entirely by accident, after North bought her an Oval Stone that she had picked up in the department store and refused to set down, but she's been an invaluable member of his team.

You'd better believe that York got a Look when the little snot-nosed ice bear came out of the egg, but Adirondack was cute enough to win his way into North's affections almost instantly. He's not constantly looking for trouble like some of the other members of North's team, but he has the tendency to act before he thinks, which could get him into some sticky situations. Now that he's evolved, he's much less impulsive; he kind of has to be, since he now tips the scales as the absolute largest member of North's team, taller than even North himself.

Info: A tiny little thing that North found sleeping amongst some flowers, he offered her some food and she followed him home. She's generous and kind, big-hearted for her small size. However, all the energy she uses trying to take care of others means that she spends more time asleep than the actual babies of the team. Info: An egg that North bought from Cecil, Cumulus is North's first flying-type. Not that he has much faith that even fully-evolved the little guy will have much hope of hauling North's giant ass around in the air, but you know greater miracles have happened. Cumulus is a friendly little guy, always with a happy song as he preens his cottony wings. He hasn't changed much with evolution, he's still basically just happy to be there. He makes a fantastic pillow, and if you make the mistake of laying on him he will groom your hair until he says you're ready to get up.

Eventually, originally, he decided against adopting her, simply because he wanted to mostly keep his team on the smaller side, and also because at the time he, York, and Carolina had been traveling too much. But then, about a month and change after moving into their new semipermanent address, North decided to adopt Dahlia and give her a new life.

Info: An egg that North was given by Roxas (with which he included a tip for the one egg that Roxas did ask him to pay for), Missy has been adorable and overly affectionate, clingy and rubbing on North for attention since she was a Pidgey. Now that she's a Pidgeot, it's slightly more disruptive when she starts cooing and butting her head against North's side and shoulder and hands for pets. Sometimes he jokingly calls her "Nate" when she's being super cuddly.

Info: North was no stranger to eggs that took approximately forever to hatch, but the adorable blue noodle that hatched out of the egg came out stubborn and eager to prove herself. She loves to coil around North and nuzzle him, admiring her trainer and doing everything she can to please him. Her affection only increased when she evolved from a six foot fat noodle to a 14' sleek noodle, and now she's long enough to wrap around his entire body. If she had her way, she would be draped over his shoulders like a sleek, muscular feather boa, but she has to settle for sleeping underneath the bed and lovingly tripping everyone in the morning.

Info: A Valentine's Day present from York, North named the little Munna after Lake Huron, because he's from Wisconsin and Huron is a better name than Superior or Michigan for a little purple flower tapir. (Even though York's Erie is named after the Erie Canal, she matches Huron as well vis a vis Lake Erie.) Huron is basically just happy to be there, content to float along behind North as he moves around the house and to curl up in the windowsill in the bedroom at night. He whines at the bedroom door if he senses that the Freelancers have fallen asleep without opening the door up for him to come in. The only reason he really wants to get stronger is so that he can be more helpful to his trainer and his trainer's people.
