[The only sound for a moment is the knock of the gear being tapped against something semi-hard, and similarly the only thing in focus is a white eggshell with the corners of red and blue shapes.
Also the sound of the 'Gear being chewed on. Omnomnomnom.]
Are you getting into trouble already, you little scamp?
[The voice is deep, warm, and affectionate.]
That's not food, here, let me trade you-
[The feed is a little smeared on one corner, and the camera unknowingly focuses on a large, pale hand offering one of thedonuts rice balls that Mom packs standard in her bento to a very small Togepi, who takes it in its little hands and shoves the whole thing into its mouth at once. The voice laughs offscreen, and the camera gets a closeup of his green overalls as he untucks his purple t-shirt to wipe the drool off the corner.
It's then that he notices that the camera's on, and finally brings his face into focus.]

I actually don't know what he looks like, but it didn't sound like he was doing any harm, really. I'm sure he's adorable. Most of them are.

He's just a baby. Looks like he's hatched half out of an egg.

He's got his little feet and arms sticking out of the shell, I think he's supposed to be wearing it like a onesie.

[Emil fumbles with the 'gear until a robotic voice chirps up:]
Togepi, the Spike Ball pokemon. The shell seems to be filled with joy. It is said that it will share good luck when treated kindly.
[...Baby + Spike Ball = onesie eggshell??? Okay, well, surely he can be careful enough to take a quick peek between the bands of his blindfold since it's the dex entry up on his screen.]
Oh, that actually is cute. I wonder if that's its egg's shell or if it has it already inside the egg... I guess that'd be a hard question to get an answer for though, huh?

Probably have to see if the egg has the same pattern and then compare the placement of the symbols on the shell.
Or just watch really closely when it hatches.
[He obviously doesn't know about the blinding detail-obscuring light yet]

[Emil's blindfold helped a bit, but it wasn't exactly lightproof. Still, he hadn't really seen just how disorienting the process was. And anyway...]
Does that mean that you caught that one? I guess it's only natural that babies would be found in the wild, too.
